There’s nothing better than moving into some new digs. Especially one that has been carefully chosen, designed and kitted out with some high tech touches. The new Blackwood headquarters in EDinburgh ran its official launch to highlight that the Foundation is leading the way in innovation for people with disabilities.
Capture Media attended the launch with the PR team from the Holyrood Partnership.
Holyrood Partnerships aims to give clients the best possible exposure to their target audience using a range of multimedia platforms to deliver tangible results through unrivaled coverage. So when Blackwood announced the launch of their new HQ in Dundee Street Edinburgh Holyrood Partnership’s video service was on hand to film the event and capture some of their innovative care technology in action.
Blackwood are passionate about embracing new technology to help meet the needs of their disabled service users as well as their disabled employees. Our videographer managed to capture some great footage of their innovative products including the rise and fall desks which move up and down at the touch of a button.
The event was attended by Touch Bionics, the world leading prosthetic technologies and support service, who provided a myo-electric hand to share the ribbon cutting duties with Margaret Burgess, the Scottish Minister for housing and welfare.
